Hyacinth Flowers

Hyacinth’s are beautiful flowers, commonly found in decorative floral arrangements. Named after a young man called Hyakinthos in Greek mythology, Hyacinths are commonly found in pure white (“Carnegie”), pink (“Splendid Cornelia”), salmon (“Anne Marie”), peach and blue (“Delft Blue”). Origin: It was brought to Western Europe in the 16th century and was first cultivated in Austria in the 1500's.
