Hydrangeas Flowers

Hydrangeas are beautiful, star shaped flowers, commonly used in decorative floral arrangements all over the world. Hydrangea’s were named after the shape of the fruit they produce after they open; their name actually means “water barrel”. Native to Japan, Hydrangeas are found commercially in two varieties – Hydrangea Macrophylla and Hydrangea Paniculata. Both varieties are available in Spring until Autumn.


Tip: Change the water in the vase daily to ensure your hydrangeas last as long as possible. Their typical vase life is up to two weeks, so they are considered generally long-lasting flowers.
